The Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining held the fifth meeting of the Executive Committee for Legal Metrology of the Arab Metrology Initiative (ARAMET) on Monday, January 20, 2025, via videoconference, under the chairmanship of the Republic of Tunisia.
The meeting was attended by committee members representing the following Arab countries: the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Tunisia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Sudan, the State of Palestine, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
The meeting reviewed the measures taken to follow up on the implementation of the recommendations of the Committee’s previous meeting. In addition, the chairs of the technical committees presented reports on the outcomes of the legal metrology technical committee meetings held during the last quarter of 2024
