Establishment

The Arab Metrology Association (ARAMET) was established as a specialized regional system for official bodies in Arab countries working in the field of legal, scientific, and industrial metrology. The association came about as a result of merging the Arab Program for Scientific and Industrial Metrology and the Arab Program for Legal Metrology by Resolution No. 992 issued by the Executive Council of the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization at its fifty-ninth meeting held on April 1, 2021, under the name (ARAMET).
