Technical Committee for Length and Dimensions

The Technical Committee for Length and Dimensions is one of the specialized committees under the Arab Metrology Program (ARAMET). It aims to develop and strengthen the capabilities of Arab countries in the field of dimensional metrology, in alignment with international standards and best practices. The committee’s responsibilities include coordinating inter-laboratory comparisons, harmonizing technical procedures and reference standards, and providing technical support for the capacity building of national laboratories.

The committee also monitors scientific and technological advancements in dimensional metrology, contributes to the development of technical guides, and organizes specialized workshops and seminars. These efforts help improve measurement quality and foster regional and international recognition of measurement results.
