The Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Standardization, and Mining held the fourth meeting of the Executive Committee for Scientific and Industrial Metrology of the Arab Metrology Initiative (ARAMET) on January 23, 2024, via videoconference.
Attended by representatives from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Palestine, Egypt, and technical committee chairs, the meeting reviewed progress on previous recommendations and discussed the 2024–2028 Work Plan, focusing on capacity building, knowledge exchange, awareness, measurement enhancement, quality systems, and international participation.
Key outcomes included adopting the executive plan, approving the technical committee evaluation guide, and agreeing to hold workshops and intercomparison programs.
